Julie was my life coach during a major transition in my life as I moved from my hometown to Omaha, leaving a job I loved and beginning a new job search. During that time, I was feeling stressed, frustrated, and dealing with recurring bouts of depression. Our weekly sessions became a steady place for me to land โ a time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters. Julie brings a warm supportive presence, and she has a gift for helping you notice what is already working in your life while gently putting challenges into a calmer, more compassionate perspective.
Her questions and reflections stayed with me throughout the week, like “Where do I spend my energy?” and “What is my resistance trying to tell me?” These questions helped me listen to myself more carefully and evaluate potential career paths with greater clarity and confidence. At one point, I had invested significant time pursuing tutoring certification, but something didn’t feel right. I struggled with the feeling that changing direction might mean giving up. Julie helped me see that this resistance wasn’t failure โ it was insight. That shift in perspective allowed me to move forward with more trust in myself and less self-doubt.
Julie’s encouragement stayed with me between sessions and helped me navigate uncertainty with a greater sense of steadiness. I’m grateful for her thoughtful guidance during a difficult season of change, and I would warmly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, insightful coach who helps you better understand yourself and move forward with clarity.

Julie Kestner is a lot of things: warm and kind, insightful and compassionate. But perhaps her single greatest attribute is that she’s an incredibly good listener. With patience, but without judgment, she’ll listen carefully to whatever it is you’re struggling with and then help you sort through it.
She doesn’t come with one-size-fits-all suggestions; indeed, she doesn’t come with any preconceived notions at all. Instead, she sits with you, like a good friend, and helps you find within yourself the solutions you need. Julie helps you help yourself with deft guidance and an open heart. She was just the person I needed when I was struggling with anxiety. Julie will be the first person to tell you that no one can be everything to everyone, but if you’re looking for guidance and coaching, or just a kind ear, you can be sure you’ll find help โ real, sincere, genuine help โ from Julie.

Julie is amazing! She showed up with such incredible energy. Julie is extremely encouraging and supportive and made me feel like I could take on the world. Julie’s support and understanding is unwavering. She uses humor and levity to make the sessions so easy to participate in and I got so much out of my time with her. I truly feel like Julie gets to the heart of things and makes the process so fun. Thank you, Julie!

Before coaching with Julie Kestner, I struggled with self-sabotage when I came close to accomplishing a goal. Julie gave me several examples of how to incorporate self-affirmation into my day to counteract potential acts of self-sabotage. The most significant result I experienced from coaching with Julie was that I have the answers within and as I come closer to transformation, I will need to incorporate methods to push through the sense of wanting to stay in place rather than move forward with change. I can do this through simple, daily activities that keep my focus on my health and well-being.
